Request deletion of your Spark Birds account

If you have a Spark Birds account, you can ask us to delete it and the information linked to it.

How to request deletion

  1. Send an email to support using the button above.
  2. Include the Spark Birds account email address.
  3. Include the username if you know it.
  4. Do not include your password.

What we delete

  • Your profile details.
  • Your saved sightings and other things tied to your account, except where we have to keep something for legal or safety reasons.
  • Other information linked to your account, where we can delete it.
We may need to keep some information for a while, for example to prevent fraud, keep the app safe, look into abuse, settle a dispute, or follow the law. If we keep something, we only keep what we need for that reason.

How long deletion may take

Deleting an account is not always instant. We may need a little time to check the request is really yours and finish the deletion. We will email you if we need more details.
